Notes
Brachetto remains one of Italy's under-appreciated wines, despite the fact it is a fundamental part of local drinking culture in Piedmont. The Braida 2019 Brachetto d'Acqui pours from the bottle with a purplish-ruby tinge, and it supplies a good amount of foam and fizz despite its semi-sparkling status. The bouquet reveals candied raspberry, wild rose, peach and nectarine. If you dig deep, you will also find chalky mineral notes. The alcoholic content is a very contained 5.5%, making for a nice sparkling lunch wine with a vegetable piadina.Monica Larner - The Wine Advocate
