"As iconoclastic as it is idiosyncratic. Cabernets sauvignon and franc, released with bottle age, approaching senescence. Vacillating from verdant shades to darker and brighter fruits, before the next glass iterates cigar box, graphite and a carnal mulchiness. The tannins, detailed and finely grained. Softening. A gentle oaky seam. A spurt of acidity and the emergence of further layers bring another breath of life."
