I'm not sure if they made a 2016, but here we have 2017. Includes a little Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.I opened this yesterday, and thought, ‘let's not be too hasty', as it seemed a little folded in on itself. A day later, it's looking much better. Blue and black fruit, cocoa powder, tobacco, some mint and violet in the mix. Medium-bodied, crisp acidity, almost a cranberry crunch to it, along with a tightly knit tannin, some toast and earthiness, attractive perfume on a long firm finish. Very stylish.
