Notes
The Bergeron apricots are sourced from Jean-Louis Chave's orchard in Mauves, Rhône Valley. These are among the tastiest apricots in France. On the nose, the apricot flavours shine through from fresh, primary fruit to more fleshy notes to the structure of the pip flavours. The nose is powerful and refined with a sophisticated fragrance. On the palate, the strength is appealing, showcasing the diverse aromas of the Bergeron apricot and finishes nicely and light footed. It can be served by itself, chilled in a big balloon glass. It strikes a perfect balance with desserts such as Crêpes Suzette.
