Fresh, vibrant, juicy expression with requisite but finer tannin, a slurpiness, bouncy texture, fruit-forward and all freshened up with brisk acidity. Tastes somewhere between cherry cola, sour cherry juice, sarsaparilla and a light vermouth, at first, then back palate goes darker, slightly sweet-earthy and the finish is a really satisfying chomp of tannin and fresh acidity.
