Notes
Created from a house recipe from 1894, Libertine Originale is actually an assemblage of macerates and distillates. It contains Artemisia pontica instead of Artemisia absinthium. Due to its use of pontica it could better be described as a 'liqueur d'armoise'. It is sweet and aromatic with a milky louche. An excellent absinthe for beginners.
