"Medium to light brick-red colour with a distinct tawny brown rim. The bouquet is very mature and savoury, smelling of autumnal leaves, dry undergrowth and pot pourri or dried flower heads. The palate is likewise very savoury and drying, with typical nebbiolo tannins dominant, but there is also a fragrant and quietly charming complexity. There is a subtle richness in the mid-palate.
