Notes
'A riper interpretation compared with 2020. 2 tonnes of primo Barbera naturally fermented with 1/3rd whole bunches with gentle extraction. Aged in old French barriques until spring. Soft dark cherry red. The mellow nose offers dried red rose, cherry juice, blood plum skin and earthy dried herb whole bunch notes. Already displaying impressive secondary complexity. The palate shows more primary fruit with a deeply ripe sweet core to it. A little more on the berry fruit here with black raspberry, blackberry and mulberry. Tannins are super gentle. Notes of dried herbs and bitter chocolate on the finish. Very generous. Does the drinking for you.' Winery Notes
