Notes
Raspberry, cherry, almond, dried flower perfume, liquorice, a fair bit of cinnamon and clove suggesting a touch of small format oak. It’s medium to full-bodied, baking spice in with cherry and red fruits, a stony and somewhat granular feel to tannin, Earl Grey tea, with a biscuity finish of excellent length and dry sooty tannin to close. There’s a succulence here and a good volume of fruit, though it’ll need some time to come together.
