Notes
Touriga Nacional, Tino Cao, Tinta Negra Mole. A first crack at a VP style for Wes Pearson, I believe. I'm no authority on these styles, though I do believe I can apply myself every now and then. I have some 2011 Fonseca in the cellar, put away as a birth year wine for my second son.Classic styling here. Purple fruit and floral perfume, clean spirit, new leather car interior, crushed blackberry. It's not too full on, or gluggy, light tannin grip, again all the perfume and subtle sweetness, but it's fruit driven rather than sugared up in style. Finish is long and fresh. It's wholly admirable in style, and beautifully made. It will keep, I suspect, for as long as you'd like, and gain further complexity as it goes.94 PointsGary Walsh - The Wine Front
