"The wine world version of blue steak, they’ve torn this one’s horns off, wiped its arse and slapped it on the plate, to paraphrase. Intense and concentrated, racy and inward, a laser beam, an epee thrust, a dart shaped crystal across the palate. Lime, lemon, green apple, frangipani to sniff on. Similar flavours, minus the florals, this is cold citrus juice and saline-quartz-like minerality and energy to burn. Electric. Whoosh, it made me flush beneath my eyes.
