Notes
This is both light on its feet and entirely convincing. It’s a taut, stringy, herb-flecked pinot with cranberry, strawberry and red cherry flavours mixed with twigs and assorted greenery. It’s light but ripe, bright and insistent. Tannin here is velvety and while there are signs of cedar wood oak it feels perfectly well integrated. The Hughes & Hughes wines are clearly in terrific shape.
