Barbera's such a tricky beast. There are so many, completely diverse, expressions of this varietal I confess I find it impossible to pick blind.This wine was emblematic of that sentiment. Beguiling, interesting, red & black fruited, showing some anisey-licquoricey something. My notes are inadequate - you should try it for yourself!
