Now this is what vermentino is all about - a variation on citrus with a fragrance of lemon blossom, kaffir lime leaves, lemon drops, mandarin peel with some lemon curd and its saline-thirst-quenching quality and fresh natural acidity to close. There's a lick of sweetness rounding out the palate and it has texture thanks to the hand-picked fruit undergoing a wild ferment, then left on lees for 10 months in seasoned oak and in tank.
