Notes
A racy & mineral riesling from Rippon here, with acidity for days, offset by delicate lees and a touch of residual sugar. Startlingly good stuff.Liam"Built for cellaring. Tense and energetic in youth. Geez this is a good wine and legacy thing. Amazing biodynamic farming. Gentle winemaking.Tightly wound, racy, but in that frame there's light citrusy notes, floral mouth-feel, the kiss of subtle, honeyed character, a touch of buttered toast, but the gist is acidity as frame and direction giver. There is so much going on in each sip – from unavoidable fog of floral perfume through to the lingering, piercing tang. Beautiful wine here. Long may it live as so many of this release do."96 PointsMike Bennie - The Wine Front
