Notes
Saddleback Mountain lookout is a lovely place to visit for sweeping vistas of Kiama and environs. You can check out the little blowhole, and the big blowhole for a somewhat wetter and more intimate experience.
It’s quite spicy, a little reductive too with some smoky bacon, plum and cherry fruit, some biscuit spice and thyme perfume. It’s light to medium-bodied, a little sappy and quite crisp, poached strawberry and cranberry, a dusting of peppery tannin, with a tangy finish of solid length. It’s perhaps a little thin, but it does have a bit of energy and verve, and a general sort of frisky drinking appeal. Pretty good all up.
