Notes
"Immediately on pouring: black fruit & black liquorice, that segues towards that berry sauce on vanilla ice-cream thing that's become a marker synonymous with avant-garde Barossa producers in recent years. Some savoury things, pepper, dust, char.
I know from previous experience that days open will see it unfurl further too.
I reckon I love this nose actually.
The palate so deft & elegant. Fine tannin builds a sense of that 'mineral', crushed rocks thing, antithetical to the fruit bombs of old. No overt alcohol, no overt oak, just really good fruit, not messed with. It is singing."
