Notes
It's just 17 kilometres from the Grampians shiraz in this range. Natural ferment, sees used oak. Winemaking kept very simple to reflect clear regionality.Earthy, spicy scents, dusty cupboard, sniff of twigs and briar. Crisp in texture, some sweet, red and black fruitiness, white peppery spice, lick of mint and herbs. Nice, cool, restrained, even flow to this wine. Doesn't match the reading of 14.9% on the label, evenly balanced and more genteel. Sleek. Lovely drinkMike Bennie - The Wine FrontTasted June 2016
