Notes
"There’s a completeness to this wine. It brings flavour, it brings spread, it brings tannin and it brings length. Leather and licorice, camphor and cardamom, black cherry and a reductive, smoky, cedarwood aspect. There’s a musky creaminess in play here too though where it ends and the velvety, grapey aspect of the tannin begins is difficult to determine. It hardly matters. Everything’s in harmony here and everything’s pulling in the most convincing of directions. I looked at this over the course of three days, believe it or not, and all it did was get better and better. It’s outstanding."

"Medium-deep red tinged with purple, a good colour for a nebbiolo, with a reserved but complex, savoury bouquet of underbrush and dried herbs, raspberry/red fruits and rose-petals on the palate, charming and supple in spite of the bold tannins that bring on the powerful and persistent finish. Delicious flavour. A very smart Australian nebbiolo, especially when sipped with protein"
