Notes
Note: 30% whole cluster - This vineyard holding sits directly above Grand cru Clos de Tart quite high on the slope bordering Bonnes Mares on the southern Chambolle-Musigny border and Clos des Lambrays on the northern border. The resulting wine shows remarkable energy and dimension. A stunning village wine. Tasting note: This is also distinctly floral though the red currant, pomegranate and spice elements are notably cooler. The racy and highly energetic flavors possess more minerality and delineation though not the same texture on the sneaky long finish that is so refreshing that you just feel like drinking this. While it will certainly age this will be hard to resist when young.Score: 89-91, Tasted: Jan 15, 2017, Drink: 2021+, Rated as OutstandingIssue: 65, Notes from Alan Meadows, www.burghound.com
