Notes
It’s a little more herbal and perfumed than last few years of Malbec releases (aside 2011, of course). Baking spices, menthol, cedar, raspberry, plum and cocoa, strewn with mint and roses. Medium bodied, at most, tightly packed and very dense, with firm tannin, the distinct flavour of Brazil nuts and sweet fresh raspberries, crisp acidity, and a rose oil and lavender perfume wafting through the long fine finish, replete with granular tannin. A lighter, almost Cabernet Franc like iteration of the Malbec, but a charmer all the same.
