Charlie Seppelt and Skye Salter both love Cabernet, and 'claret' styles in general. The Whaite family, who own the Springs Hill Vineyard where they source their Shiraz, also had a block of Cabernet that was planted back in 1975. And so, the lifelong dream of adding a Cabernet Sauvignon to their lineup was realised. The wine has all of the hallmarks of the variety: blackcurrant, leafiness, graphite, and filled with heavenly aromatics. It's an elegant, refined Cabernet with fruit purity at the forefront. Divine stuff.
