Notes
Sourced from a single vineyard in Steels creek this wine is predominantly Cabernet Franc (planted in 1981) with a small addition of Syrah for weight and mid palate. Both the Franc and Syrah were fermented as whole bunches with the Carbonic Maceration technique. The resulting wine was aged in old neutral oak and stainless steel for 10 months. No fining, filtering or additions except a small amount of SO2.Tasting notes: The wine is extraordinarily bright with ultra fresh dark red berries and a touch of herbs. The wine has crunchy red and black berry fruits with tension and drive, fine tannins draw the palate out. It's so juicy and delicious you will find it too easy to drink!Winery Note
