Toasty oak and tar-accented fruit but there remains a freshness to the fruit and it feels well balanced overall. The Kaesler reds are in good shape and here's yet more proof. Plum, peppercorn, red licorice and tar notes carry through to a warm but satisfying finish. It's both substantial and neat.
