The last release (the 2019) was, to my mind, the finest and most exciting Gamay we opened all year, eclipsing even the 'big 4' names of Beaujolais. I am looking forward to personally buying and drinking some of these ASAP. Glossy and yet with crispness, a tart cherry juice slosh and layers and layers of dried and fresh herb, white pepper, light truffle notes and a building, fine and lacy tension of tannins to the mouth-watering and firming finish. Wildly drinkable, faint funky, but a complex, detailed wine at the same time. Superb balance, would be the ultimate comment – light, fresh, fine and ethereal in its carriage of scents and flavours.
